Welcome to Sooke Sailing Association,

The Sooke Sailing Association is a growing group of people dedicated to bringing their love  & the passion for sailing to the Sooke & Westshores area. Some of us have sailed in many different parts of the world & some of us have just loved sailing in local BC waters; but all of us are passionate for teaching people of all ages how to love the water, how to love the dream of sailing where you want to go, whether that means competing, cruising or sailing from bay to bay.
Our teaching programs are held  at the Sooke Bay Marine Center, a couple kms west of downtown Sooke, the Oak Bay Marina and we have future plans for Peddar Bay Marina. We are Sail Canada certified to provide both safe & educational fun, both on & off the water.
We are very fortunate for the excellent, experienced instructors that we have for our sailing programs. All SAILCanada Certified.
Kate is very experienced & knowledgeable and thrives on teaching people love for the water, for sailing & just ending the day with a smile on your face.
Chris has recently joined us from eastern Canada, He is very focused, teaches easily and can speak to young sailors.
